Vehicle Description

How do you take a timeless Chevy and make it even more appealing? You start with a list of choice upgrades, finance a professional, nut-and-bolt restoration, and top everything off with a hot LSX454 crate engine! When it comes to performance, durability and sheer popularity, nothing beats a Golden Era Chevrolet. And, thanks to their simplicity and heavy duty hardware, classics like the Chevrolet C10 are ideal foundations for killer customs with monstrous horsepower. This trick truck is the literal embodiment of American Muscle. Upgrades like custom upholstery and a modern automatic transmission make it perfect for unforgettable driving experiences, while classic lines, an exceptional stance and miles of rich two-stage are sure to create curb appeal. Looking for a 'just right' classic that's road ready, show-ready and just plain battle-ready? This fully-sorted Chevy has it all!

WHAT QUALITY LOOKS LIKE The product of a meticulous nut-and-bolt restoration that was completed by the pros at Taylorsville, North Carolina's Muscle Car Accessories, this super cool Chevy is clean, classy and ready to roll! Naturally, the build was a body-off affair that included mounting the truck's cab on a rotisserie. And that slick black two-stage you're busy admiring was carefully sprayed, piece by piece, while everything was fully disassembled. At the front of all that dialed in dash, a broad, "CHEVROLET" branded grille hangs clear parking lamps between modern, CST-spiced headlights and a polished bumper. Above that grille, a domed hood centers a Satin Black bowtie on a tinted greenhouse, which rolls traditional, two-piece side glass behind bright CST window trim and polished stainless wipers. At the sides of that glass, a smooth profile centers polished mirrors, polished handles and still appropriate engine callouts between attractive CST spears, black-themed CST rocker guards and fresh "CST/10" scripts. And at the back of that profile, a second polished bumper joins a CST-dressed tailgate to seal a glossy bed between bright LED taillights.

BIG SMALL BLOCK

Lift the hood and you'll find 454 cubic inches of proven LSX small block that, sourced directly from Chevrolet Performance, creates an impressive 627 horsepower! That monster eats through a customized Billet Specialties Streamline air cleaner, which bends wind into muted Holley electronic fuel injection. That mix falls through a lightweight GM intake that's sealed in glossy Charcoal Metallic skin. That skin stretches to hot LSX-LS7 heads, which tilt a choice mix of titanium and sodium-filled valves between fluid roller rockers and customized Chevrolet covers. Stout 11 to 1 compression gets bumped by a forged steel crank, forged aluminum pistons, forged 4340 rods and a spry hydraulic roller cam. Those internals funnel spent gases through coated Hedman Husler Hedders. Those tubes cage quality Taylor plug wires. There's a massive aluminum radiator that's slid in front of a big electric puller fan. A muted Billet Specialties Tru Trac serpentine drive spins a full suite of Charcoal Metallic accessories that includes an Edelbrock water pump, a modern AC compressor and a Powermaster alternator. Ancillaries are first rate in every way, with braided fluid lines and a trusty Wilwood master cylinder complementing trick dipsticks and billet fluid reservoirs. And the iron, six-bolt mill rides tight in a clean, Satin Black engine bay.

BADDER AND BETTER

Talk about clean! The bottom of this first class C10 is absolutely immaculate, from the truck's Charcoal Metallic transmission pan all the way to its Charcoal Metallic tag bracket. Behind the LS, a modern 4L85E 4-speed twists torque to a tough 12-bolt axle. Everything rolls low and mean on a familiar, factory-style suspension that's been thoughtfully upgraded with a beefy sway bar, tubular control arms, a beefy Panhard bar and CV Products lowering blocks. Modern power steering makes parking easy and turns a cinch. Quick stops come courtesy of four power-assisted calipers, which squeeze four drilled and slotted discs. The aforementioned headers feed polished, Mandrel bent stainless, which pipes spent gases through and H-shape crossover and rowdy SpinTech mufflers. A massive aftermarket fuel tank supplies plenty of 'go juice'. And power meets the pavement through striking Billet Specialties Turbines, which spin 285/35ZR19 Michelin Pilot Super Sports in front of 305/35ZR19 Michelin Pilot Super Sports.

TIMELESS COMFORT IN TIMELESS STYLE Swivel the doors and you'll reveal a tastefully customized cockpit that's classy in all the right ways. Tight TMI upholstery dresses a pair of tall buckets to match a tidy console and clean, fade-free carpet. In front of those thrones, a monochromatic dash hangs hybrid telemetry above cool modern air conditioning and trick billet foot pedals. Sculpted door panels front modern power windows. The driver spins a familiar Chevrolet steering wheel around a modern, tilting column. And, to continue modern theme, a fresh head unit bumps big Pioneer kick speakers.
