Vehicle Description
This 1943 Ford GPW Jeep was rugged from day one, but now it has
been given the right investments in a lifted 4x4 suspension,
off-road ready features, and a growling V8. It makes for the kind
of classic hero that has the kind of strength that gets to continue
leading the way forward.
The multi-scale digital camo sets the tone right for this one. It
tells you that these classic Ford GPW military Jeep lines are now
surrounded by plenty of modern upgrades. So while you still have
the classic-style grille up front, what's really leading the way is
a custom RockHard front bumper with a push bar, tow hooks, and dual
light bars. The sides show off the upgraded wheels and tires with
the lifted suspension and rear fender flares. And the classic ax
and shovel kit is a little harder to see against the well-done
modern camouflage paint. The rear shows off even more of the cool
camo, and it also has a custom trailer hitch with a plate to mount
Jerry cans so you really can take more of the fun with you.
The interior is built to enjoy off-road fun. The floor is done in
rugged liner paint, and you have a pair of Corbeau full bucket
seats with 4-point off-road harnesses. The rear section is now used
to add a proper roll bar, a high-lift off-road jack, and a place to
mount a full-size spare. The grippy three-spoke steering wheel,
B&M shifter, an upgraded gauge package are all part of this
Jeep's useful feeling.
Under the hood is a big upgrade in power. The 350 cubic-inch V8 is
double the cylinders and more than 150 percent larger than the
Willys powerhouse. Not only do you have a larger displacement, but
also this motor inhales deeply with a four-barrel carburetor and an
Edelbrock aluminum intake. The full package has a tidy and bright
look that you'll love showing off, and there are also the right
functional upgrades, like an aluminum radiator, additional trans
cooler, good wires, a wide belt, and an HEI distributor. This V8
exhales out of long tube headers that have a cool look seen through
the front fenders (almost like a gasser.) So you know this one has
the extra muscle to make the most out of its go-anywhere 4x4
attitude. The three-speed automatic transmission, power steering,
power brakes, front discs, and Goodyear Wrangler tires are all
there to make your day off-road fun and easy.
This one takes the military icon you love and makes it into the
powerful off-roader that gets to lead the charge up the hill. So if
you love a true classic with true ability, call today!
