Collector Car Alert! Real Deal numbers matching '69 El Camino SS Custom 396/375HP L78. Extremely rare El Camino with the L78 375 HP engine. Only 165 of these Big Block '69 El Camino's were built with the beefy TH400 trans.
Car has the factory correct winters snowflake high-rise aluminum intake manifold and Holley 780 dual feed carb. Previous owner removed & rebuilt the 396 375HP L78 engine and TH400 trans. Engine rebuild includes: New forged pistons, cylinder torque plate honing, new stainless steel valves and HP valve springs, new cam, solid lifters, and rebalanced crankshaft. Less than 5K miles on both. Car has original 12 bolt 4:10 Posi-rear, & currently rides on period correct Cragar SS wheels. Car has been well cared for and in overall very good condition with 61,835 original miles. This rare '69 El Camino was ordered with the F41 option package that includes tinted glass, tilt wheel, and heavy-duty suspension with boxed control arms. Car spent most of it's life in Arizona and has PS/PB. All body panels are factory original, including glass, trim, engine and trans.
