Metallic exterior with custom two-tone Black over Grey interior. A
great documented history with tons of tasteful upgrades. We have a
large document file included with the sale of the vehicle and for
the buyer's review. This Defender was purchased from Los Masos in
Southern France and imported to the US by Car Cave. Los Masos is a
small commune located near the base of the Pyrenees mountains in
the Pyrenees-Orientales region. The region is known to be the
southernmost point in all of France, the hottest, driest, and
lowest precipitation right on the border of Spain.Previous
ownership spared not expense at maintaining and modifying this
beauty. The recently rebuilt engine runs great, shifts smooth, and
rides down the road straight. The soft top can be rolled down for
full coverage from the elements or totally removed for those sunny
days. A true pleasure to drive with a stunning look. The front
seats have been reupholstered in a custom two-tone grey/black and
new foam underneath. LED headlamps, with clear LED lamps lights all
around improve safety and reliability while accent the KBX grill
perfectly. The 275/70R16 BFG All Terrain Tires are wrapped around a
set of Black Mach 5 wheels. A full size matching spare is included
in the sale. No other 4x4 vehicle has the pedigree and track record
of a Land Rover. Not only was it one of the first, it remains the
world's pre-eminent on and off-road vehicle. Exhilarating to drive,
highly reliable, and easy to maintain. The 2.5L Turbo Diesel is
mated to the bullet proof LT77 5 Speed Manual Transmission. Direct
injection technology coupled with a turbocharger gives improved
fuel economy with even greater power, torque, longevity, and
reliability. It provides high performance on-road with the
capability to tackle the worst off-road conditions in nearly every
driving environment in the world.The engine was fully rebuilt in
March of 2021. The receipt shows at time of the engine rebuild in
March of 2021 these additional major parts were replaced:
injectors, thermostat, lift pump, lower engine cover, timing belt,
engine mounts, glow plugs, oil cooler hoses, clutch fork, clutch,
radiator hoses, radiator, belts, breather hoses, pedal covers,
transmission shaft, expansion tank, clutch master, and clutch slave
cylinder. Other recent maintenance includes a new Bosch injection
pump, exhaust, brake master cylinder, rear axle (a frame) ball
joint, brake calipers, wheel bearings, wheel cylinders, u-joints,
bonnet cable, rear bench seats and lap belt, wiper blades,
transmission tunnel mat, horn/blinker switch, headlamp switch,
interior dome lamp, interior dome lamp plinth.Upgrades &
