For Sale: 1941 Mercedes-Benz 320 in Astoria, New York
1941 Mercedes-Benz 320 Cabriolet DThis 1941 Mercedes-Benz 320
Cabriolet D is an excellent original example that's been patiently
awaiting straightforward restoration. Burgundy with tan leather
interior. It comes complete and ready to finish assembling. Just
out of long-term ownership and storage. Restoration was started but
left to be completed by its next loving owner. Mercedes-Benz?s
luxurious 320 series was introduced in 1936 as a replacement for
the 290. Most 320s were completed with rather formal coachwork but
this example is fitted with the more-unusual four-door Cabriolet D?
body with two-panel opening vee windscreen and doors hinged at the
center pillar. Stylish and imposing, the 320 Cabriolet D? had few
peers as an example of open-top motoring in the grand manner,
affording its fortunate owners 500K style but without the latter?s
considerable purchase and running costs. This particular example
represents an exciting opportunity for it's next caretaker. The
ideal project, this extremely collectible and desirable 320 Cab D
is not to be overlooked by any Mercedes-Benz enthusiast.Price:
