The 1972 model year was the final offering for Chevrolet's unique three-door design, the driver's side featured only a single door while the passenger side offered two. The Suburban grew in popularity each year as the demand for enhanced towing and larger cargo capacities increased, signaling the beginning of the modern SUV market. This 1/2 ton 4-wheel drive example was well-restored and sorted out by the previous owner who also updated many of the systems.
