Vehicle Description
This is an officially licensed and certified Eleanor Tribute
Edition build and comes with the genuine Eleanor certification
paperwork, Eleanor body VIN plate and emblems. This 1967 custom
coupe conversion is a completely fresh rotisserie restoration. The
body began with a bare Mustang coupe shell and was designed and
created to be a blend of the iconic Eleanor styling with an updated
and modern suspension for improved performance. Underneath the
distinctive domed Eleanor hood sits a freshly rebuilt Ford FE 428ci
V8 engine with a Holley 750 dual-feed carburetor coupled to a
Toploader 4-speed manual transmission with a Hurst shifter and
Go-Baby-Go switch, which operates the front brake line lock for the
occasional burnout. It has an electronic ignition for reliable
performance. It exhales through 2.5-inch exhaust exiting through
the side rockers. The exhaust system is equipped with electric
variable-controlled exhaust dumps so you can conveniently adjust
the exhaust volume from full mufflers to deafening open-headers.
The original suspension was replaced, front to back. The
powder-coated subframe assembly includes front tubular frame rails
and subframe connectors, power rack & pinion steering and front
adjustable coilovers. The rear suspension consists of a Watts Link
9-inch semi-floating rear differential with pivot and swing arms,
QA1 shocks and coilovers, Heim joints and frame-rail brackets. It
has a 31-spline Ford posi-traction unit with Motive Performance
ring and pinion with functional 3.50 gearing. Stopping power is
provided by 4-wheel Wilwood 12.25-inch power disc brakes with
4-piston drilled and slotted rotors and red calipers. In addition,
the underside of the Mustang was prepared as meticulously as the
top side and painted in the body color, with many coats of clear to
allow it to be wiped down with ease. This Eleanor rolls on 8x17
front and 9.5x18 rear Eleanor-style wheels with Z-Rated performance
tires. It was professionally finished in Pepper Gray Metallic
2-Stage PPG paint along with black Rally body stripes and multiple
layers of clear coat over the top. The underside of the fiberglass
hood and the shaved engine compartment are painted in the body
color as well. The hood has variable adjustable aluminum billet
hood hinges. The overall body gaps, alignment, fit and finish of
the scoops and custom body modifications were hand-fitted for
90-degree seams. Proper sequential taillights brushed
stainless-steel bullet-style side view mirror and Eleanor-style
flip-up gas-filler lid round out the exterior look. It is equipped
with a Vintage Air climate control system, electric trunk release
and keyless push-button start, which also includes an alarm and
disarming key fob. The all-new deluxe interior features custom
low-back leather seats along with a leather center console and
matching dash with stainless-steel billet trim on the dash and door
panels. The rear area is equipped with a matching leather
factory-style fold-down seat with the inoperable NOS bottle located
behind it. It also has a custom-painted roll bar with a certified
seat belt harness. The dash cluster is fitted with brand-new
retro-style Velocity gauges and sits behind an Ididit tilt-steering
column with a custom vintage-style wood steering wheel. Show-ready
LED lighting in the interior cabin, engine compartment and chassis
area allows for that "wow" factor after dusk. Sound is provided by
a RetroSound stereo with Bluetooth connectivity and multiple
speakers. It has two batteries in the trunk, one for starting and
the second for the LED lighting and accessories. All the
accessories, extensive gauges, and lighting, including the front
blue driving lights, fog lights and LED lights, operate and
function correctly with the flip of a toggle switch. **SOLD ON
