Vehicle Description
This is one of 750 Talladegas built at the Atlanta assembly plant
in 1969 to homologate for NASCAR competition. A complete rotisserie
restoration has been done in factory-original Presidential Blue,
which is the rarest of the three colors offered for the Talladega,
with only 199 produced. Not only is it the rarest color, but it
retains all the original drivetrain with all matching numbers,
engine transmission and rear end. Talladegas were equipped with the
428ci V8 Cobra Jet engine, C6 Cruise-O-Matic automatic
transmission, front disc brakes, power steering, oil cooler and
factory competition suspension. The grille, hood and fenders are
specific to Talladegas to increase aerodynamics, which persuaded
Richard Petty to switch from Chrysler to Ford. This car has been
inspected, is listed in the Talladega Registry and comes with a
Marti Report, original Build Sheet, owner's manual and restoration
photos.
