Vehicle Description
This is an authentic Shelby GT500 as listed in the 1997 Shelby
Registry. This car has had a complete rotisserie restoration. The
car was Lime Gold originally and Is now painted a red base coat
with clear coat. One unique feature is that the Shelby stripes are
painted in Opalescent Pearl White. During the reassembly it
received some performance parts without detracting from the
original car. The brakes, wheels, dash pad, center console and the
steering rack were replaced. The car rides on 17-inch American
Racing wheels wrapped in Toyo tires. Hidden behind the wheels is a
set of SSBC cross-drilled rotors with 4-piston calipers. A TCI rack
& pinion, Hooker headers and Borla exhaust were also installed.
This car has a C6 transmission with 3.73 gears and posi-traction
rear. The interior is original style, except center console and
gauge pad, and features a Carroll Shelby signature on the passenger
