Vehicle Description
Marketed by Mercedes-Benz as "the most spectacular cross-country
vehicle of all time," the G63 AMG 6x6 is very much deserving of
that title, made even more impressive due to the supreme level of
luxury. With six driven wheels, five lockable differentials and
three rigid axles that can operate autonomously to manage the 700
bhp and 708 ft/lbs of torque produced by the AMG-built/BRABUS
upgraded 5.5-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine, its off-road
credentials are unparalleled. A BRABUS tuned-ECU program manages
engine performance, enhanced with BRABUS turbocharger units with a
larger compressor, and BRABUS Gold Heat reflection sheeting is used
on the intakes while new charge-air pipes lower the temperature.
High-performance catalysts were added with 75mm downpipes for lower
back pressure to a stainless-steel exhaust with butterfly valves to
control the sound of the twin sidepipes. Measuring in at 93.2
inches tall, 86 inches wide and 231.3 inches long, it dwarfs the
standard four-wheel G63 upon which it is based. Despite tipping the
scales at 8,325 pounds, the G63 AMG 6x6 B63S 700 will hit 60 mph
from a standstill in 7.4 seconds, leading to a top speed of 100 mph
(limited due to 37-inch off-road tires). Previously owned by Dan
Bilzerian, this 6x6 has spent much of its time in Los Angeles, CA.
Built in Graz, Austria, on February 28, 2014, this 6x6 started life
as an AMG G63 6x6. It is finished in designer Mystic White on
two-tone porcelain over the black leather interior. It features
BRABUS badging throughout, aluminum pedals, sunroof, Harmon Kardon
surround sound system, COMAND navigation, BRABUS illuminated
aluminum door sills, individual rear seats with rear entertainment,
loads of carbon fiber, a wood-lined truck bed and rollbars.
Bilzerian had it converted at BRABUS in Bottrop, Germany, then
shipped to him in Los Angeles. Upon import to the U.S., it was
federalized by G&K Automotive Conversion Inc. in Santa Ana, CA,
on September 25, 2014. This 6x6 appeared in many social media and
YouTube posts while owned by Bilzerian. Service work completed in
September and November 2021 included replacing the differential
lock intensifiers, vacuum lines cleared, new driver-side power
window regulator, new audio control unit, a new set of Nitto Ridge
Grappler 37x13.5 tires, new brake fluid, front brake pads and
replacing a propeller shaft.
