Vehicle Description
This 2004 Porsche Carrera GT, chassis No.0123, with 1,547 actual
miles is one of 1,270 examples built. This example is powered by a
liquid-cooled mid-mounted 5.7-liter quad-cam V10 engine mated to a
6-speed manual transmission with a limited-slip differential. The
engine features an aluminum block with Nikasil-coated bores,
titanium connecting rods, dry-sump lubrication, and Bosch Motronic
ME7 engine management. This impressive engine produces 605hp with
an 8,400 rpm redline and 435 ft/lbs of torque. The suspension
utilizes pushrod-activated coilovers mounted inboard all around,
with the rears visible in the engine bay. Additional features
include staggered-diameter forged magnesium wheels, a ceramic
composite clutch and brake rotors, an electronically-actuated rear
spoiler, and removable roof panels. The wheels measure
199.5-inches upfront and 2012.5-inches at the rear secured by
center-lock nuts that are color-coded in reference to thread
direction. Stopping power is handled by cross-drilled 15-inch
ceramic composite brake rotors with yellow six-piston monobloc
aluminum calipers at each corner. The carbon-fiber body panels on
this example are finished in GT Silver Metallic with matching
removable roof panels. Aerodynamic elements include an undertray, a
rear diffuser, and an electronically-actuated rear spoiler that can
also be deployed manually. The cockpit is trimmed in Dark Gray
leather and features racing-style seats with carbon fiber and
Kevlar shells. It features a high-mounted shifter topped with a
laminated beechwood knob in homage to the balsa versions in Porsche
917 race cars. Other appointments include a magnesium console and
dash trim and exposed carbon fiber on the sills, doors, and sides
of the console. This car comes with its factory seven-piece luggage
set, two master keys, original service books with the pouch,
factory car cover, two roof panel straps, original center lock lug
wrench, complete tools, service records, and clean CARFAX report
showing only one owner.
