Vehicle Description
Finished in Highland Green, this 1968 Shelby GT500 convertible
features its original black interior and a white convertible power
top with a Bake-Lite back glass. Power comes from the date-code
correct freshly rebuilt 428ci engine backed by the original C6
automatic transmission, as well as the 9-inch with 3.50 axle ratio
rear differential. Equipped with power steering, power front brakes
and an extra cooling package. One of 402 produced, this GT500
convertible spent its whole life in Arizona, which accounts for its
completely original sheet metal, fog lamps and emblems. The
interior features original black bucket seats, a center console
with wood-grain trim ordered with Interior Decor Group, tilt-away
steering column, tachometer, trip odometer and AM radio, as well as
the original steering wheel. The car rides on Shelby 10-spoke
wheels with Goodyear Speedway raised-white-letter tires.
