Vehicle Description
Introduced as the most powerful and quickest street-legal Mustang
ever unleashed, the 2020 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 redefined Ford
performance. Race-inspired styling has always been key to the
Shelby mystique and the latest GT500 is no exception, based on the
sinewy new Mustang with a full array of functional aerodynamic aids
throughout, worthy of the world's most exotic modern supercars. As
with its 1960s Shelby ancestors, the GT500 is powered by a Ford V8
engine, a hand-built, supercharged 5.2-liter engine packing 760
factory-rated horsepower at 7,300 rpm and 625 ft/lbs of peak torque
at 5,000 revs. Among the engine's features are a 2.65-liter
roots-type supercharger and air-to-liquid intercooler. Shifting is
achieved with a TREMEC 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.
Cutting-edge engineering includes extensive CNC engine machining
plus electronic power steering, lightweight coil springs front and
rear, fully independent suspension, extreme low-profile tires, and
6-piston front and 4-piston rear Brembo brakes with two-piece
rotors. Finished in Velocity Blue accented by the black
over-the-top stripe option and features the comprehensive
technology package, including a 12-speaker Bang and Olufsen audio
system, BLIS blind spot information system with cross-traffic
alert, voice-activated touchscreen navigation system, heated side
mirrors and 6-way power driver's seat with memory. Supporting
high-performance features include launch control, line lock and
both engine and transmission oil coolers. Track Apps allow
real-time performance tracking. Performance is matched by the
sporting luxury of RECARO sport seats trimmed in Ebony Gray leather
accents, plus a competition-style Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel
as well as the GT500 Exclusive Trim package. Delivered new to Bell
Ford in Phoenix, AZ, accompanied by books/manuals and a Window
Sticker documenting all standard and optional features. CARFAX
