This 1990 Chevrolet 454 SS was custom-built in Anaheim, CA, in 2012 by Duane Mayer of American Hot Rods and Body Coddington shops. Powered by a 454ci engine that turns out 550hp and backed by a 700R4 Art Carr overdrive automatic transmission with an Art Morrison 4-link rear end with stock housing using 3.30:1 gears. Equipped with a COMP cam, roller rockers, MagnaFlow stainless exhaust and Sanderson headers. Stopping power is provided by upgraded disc brakes on all corners. Features a custom '90s billet grille, shaved bumpers and tailgate with a hidden release, as well as a canvas tonneau cover. The SS rides on coilovers with a counterweight under the bed to keep the lowered truck from hopping. The interior features gray leather and a matching square-weave carpet with Classic Instruments gauges. The custom pickup rides on Boyd CC2 staggered wheels, 18-inch in front and 20-inch in the rear.
