Vehicle Description
Produced from 2014 to 2020, BMW's new 4 Series models continued to
advance the German automaker's "Ultimate Driving Machine" mantra
with their trim proportions, sleek styling and, of course,
excellent performance and handling. Comprising the F32 coupe, F33
convertible and F36 5-door liftback, the 4 Series models received
engine upgrades for 2016 and a new ZHP coupe. The M4 DTM race car
for the German Touring Car Championship replaced the prior M3 DTM
in 2014 and won the Drivers and Team Championships in the debut
season. Facelifted 4 Series road models were introduced in January
2017 and included the sleek new 4-door Gran Coupe. This 2018 MMW
440i Gran Coupe is an example with its Estoril Blue paint finish
and black interior with just 32,823 seller-stated miles and a clean
CARFAX report. It is equipped with a fighter jet-style Heads Up
Display (HUD), leather interior, and M-Sport package. Powered by
its turbocharged and intercooled DOHC 24-valve inline-6 engine.
Featuring lightweight aluminum block and head, plus direct fuel
injection, it produces 320hp at 5,500 rpm and peak torque of 330
ft/lbs at just 1,380 rpm mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission
with floor shift and manual capability that sends the power to the
road. According to Car and Driver magazine testing, performance
credentials for the 440i include 4.4-second 0-to-60 mph
acceleration and the quarter-mile in 12.9 seconds at 109 mph, with
an electronically limited 155 mph top speed. Anchor-like braking
includes 70-0 mph stopping in just 166 feet and roadholding reaches
0.86 g on the test skid pad. From The Flying Marlin Collection.
