Vehicle Description
This truck was restored a few years ago, including upgrades to make
it more drivable. The engine was replaced with a full pressurized
261ci 6-cylinder (unlike the original 216ci engine, which used the
oil splash design) with dual single-barrel carburetors and Fenton
headers, plus Offenhauser valve cover and matching side cover mated
to a 4-speed transmission. The brakes have been upgraded and 4.11
gears were added. The electrical system has been upgraded to
12-volt and turn signals have been installed. It also has many
options, including the deluxe cab, which is a package containing
the 5-window cab, chrome window accents on the outside and
stainless-steel window reveals on the inside doors, interior sun
visors, armrests and a chrome grille. It's also equipped with
two-stage rear springs and 17-inch wheels and tires. It also has an
outside sun visor. Dealer accessories include driver's-side
spotlight, passenger-side outside mirror, hood ornament and
running-board treads. It has no radio, but an antenna has been
installed. The truck bed has been rebuilt using stained oak with
