Custom Sprinter built by MidWest Automotive Designs on the 3500XL
extended frame with a high roof and dual back wheels. Powered by a
V6 turbo-diesel engine with 36,874 actual miles. Seating for up to
13, with 2 captain chairs in the front, 4 in the back as well as
additional bench seating with 7 seatbelts. There are separate
stereos and climate control for the front and the back. In the
back, there are two TVs with a DVD player, USB and power outlets
throughout the van and a small drawer fridge under the back bench
seat. The four captain chairs in the back can face forward or face
each other. A separate luggage compartment is accessed through the
back doors. The trailer hitch is not wired for electrical and was
used for ski and bike carriers. Mercedes Benz installs a speed
governor on the 3500XLs at 82 mph. Just completed service replacing
one battery, rear AC compressor and the Mercedes Benz sponsored
emission system replacement.
