This 1970 Ford Mustang Mach 1 is a true 428 Cobra Jet R-code car. Originally built in Dearborn, MI, it has undergone a complete multi-year restoration. Most of the restoration was in Colorado at Classic & Performance Mustang Inc. Taken 100 percent down to metal and refinished in blue metallic with custom ghost stripes. Everything down to the nuts and bolts has been rebuilt or replaced with new items. The rebuild on the 428ci Cobra Jet engine comes with complete documentation and specs. The transmission has been upgraded to a 5-speed Richmond unit with a hydraulic clutch that performs great with the 4.10 rear end. The brake system was upgraded to four-corner Force Ten power disc brakes. Also features a climate-control system, Alpine stereo, updated gauges and race-inspired interior.
