This Mach 1 was built in Metuchen, NJ, and sold in New York. It has
an original Autolite 4-barrel carburetor. Although body panels have
been replaced, the car has been painted the original Dark Ivy Green
Metallic with the black stripe kit. The engine is a 351ci Cleveland
V8. It was rebuilt once in the 1980s. The transmission is an FMX
3-speed automatic. The rear end is the original 9-inch, 3.25
conventional rear axle. This car has optional equipment that was
added from the factory, including power front disc brakes, power
steering (not currently in the car) and AM radio, as well as the
paint color, which was an upgraded option. Mach 1 features include
vinyl high-back bucket seats, hood scoop, competition suspension,
color-keyed racing mirrors, console-mounted shifter, rim-blow
deluxe steering wheel (operational), instrument gauges, rocker
panel moldings, rear decklid tape stripe, deep-dish wheel covers,
color-keyed carpeting, rear spoiler, honeycomb rear panel between
