This custom 1983 Jeep CJ7 4x4 is powered by a fuel-injected
4.0-liter engine paired to a 5-speed manual transmission. It has
undergone an older body-off restoration with several upgrades. The
entire body/tub was completely removed and refinished. The original
metal body was reworked and painted bright blue using clear coat
paint. The interior tub was sanded and sprayed in gloss black
coating. The chassis was sanded and totally painted black once the
body was removed. The factory suspension was replaced with an
all-new 3-inch Pro Comp lift, which helps accommodate the brand-new
15-inch aluminum U.S. wheels and the 35-inch BFG tires. A complete
rewire using factory harnesses was also completed. Additional
features include power brakes and power steering. The interior was
also removed, and the front seats were reupholstered in heavy vinyl
to withstand the elements. The back seat was removed to accommodate
outdoor gear for long trail rides. The brand-new soft-top has
removable upper halves and full painted metal doors. There are
additional parts included, as well as the original air conditioning
components that could be reinstalled.
