Vehicle Description
This 1962 Chevrolet Corvair Monza 900 convertible is powered by a
145ci flat-6 engine mated to a 4-speed manual transmission. It is
finished in red over red vinyl and is equipped with a white
convertible top, matching boot cover, a heater/defroster, a padded
dashboard, louvered decklid and brightwork consisting of bumpers
with front guards, rocker-panel trim, a driver's-side mirror, a
lower rear grille and a downturned exhaust tip. Steel 13-inch
wheels are painted black, fitted with Monza-branded hubcaps and
wrapped in Sonic Astra whitewall tires. The interior features red
vinyl upholstery with a matching dash pad, door panels and
carpeting. Bright trim adorns the dashboard and door panels, and
amenities include front bucket seats, a push-button Delco AM radio
and black rubber floor mats. The rear-mounted air-cooled flat-6
engine is naturally aspirated and equipped with a pair of
one-barrel Rochester carburetors. The pushrod-tube seals are said
to have been replaced in 2020.
