The 1964 Volvo PV544 B18 Sport was ahead of its time and Sweden's
answer to the post-war coupes from American manufacturers. They
were very popular as Rally cars with their peppy 1.8-liter engines.
This 544 was lightly restored 20 years ago and spent most of the
years since then in storage when the new and current owner went
through everything. The original SU Dual Carb setup (comes with the
car) was replaced by a 2-barrel Weber Carb. The interior was
redone, and the engine was completely gone through with new
rear-end bearings, front-end bushings and brakes.
