Vehicle Description
1952 Ford F1 Please look at this high end freshly restored 1952
Ford F1. Unlike some restored examples, everything on THIS truck is
literally NEW in all respects and as close to bone-stock original
as one can hope for with a few upgrades that make it more enjoyable
for today's driving climate. This is a 'best of everything'
restoration for the buyer who wants a turn-key near-perfect truck
NOW with no waiting. It's not cheap for the reasons I will outline
below, but I think you'll agree it can't be built to this level
TODAY for the price. I'd be the first to say the 'perfect' truck
doesn't exist, but the goal for this truck was truly perfection and
I'm content to let the buyer make that decision. I invite the most
discerning buyers or inspectors to see it for its numbers-matching
merits. OPTIONS: 239 Flathead V8, Manual 3 speed on the column, AM
radio and a heater. EXTERIOR: This is a frame off rotisserie
restored solid truck from the start. This truck is all steel with
no rust or collision anywhere. In fact, there isn't even so much as
a stone chip on this beautifully maintained Cobalt Blue 2-stage
base/clear finish. The paint is striking, straight, and a mile deep
in quality for its merits. All trim/welting has been removed for a
concours quality show finish. All 4 wheel covers are new. The panel
alignment is excellent throughout with the only exception being the
rear edge of the door fitment at the cab due to new Steele Rubber
Products thick new weatherstrips. This can still be adjusted
slightly by the new owner if that alignment is critical. Generally
speaking the alignment concern disappears into the 'gap' with the
black weatherstrip (see photos). All the chrome is complete,
original parts that were re-chromed including the Trident hood
spear for V8 trucks that are increasingly hard to find in good
condition. All the glass is new, undamaged, with new weather seals
for all. This F1 has the larger back-glass for enhanced greenhouse
visibility.
