In 1967, Plymouth introduced the GTX. Its design was an optional
package on the Belvedere model. The GTX was fondly known as the
Executive Express or the Gentlemans Muscle Car. Styling resembled
the Road Runner and had an addition of standard amenities. The GTX
was a great selling car until 1971 when the B-body was re-designed.
All performance options on the GTX were pre-installed in this very
stylish vehicle.Today, the MOPAR GTX remains a very highly desired
and sought-after muscle car. Few of these cars remain in existence
today as back in the day, they were driven hard and several were
wrecked. In 1968, only 17,914 hardtop coupe models were
manufactured.This 1968 GTX has had a restoration of high quality
and it presents in above average condition. Exterior is Medium
Green and the paint is excellent with just a few tiny flaws that
are only visible from 1-2 feet away. The black vinyl top is in
excellent new condition. Chrome and trim is in great shape as
well.Interior is the black bucket seat interior with black carpet
and a black dash with the woodgrain inserts. All interior
components present in good condition. Steering wheel appears
original as well as some of the trim.Engine is the 400 CID V8 High
Performance with 375 HP. The transmission is the 727 Torque-Flight
automatic transmission.Options on this car are power drum brakes,
AM radio, flashers, and heater.Car starts up right away and the
engine runs strong. It drives with excellent performance and it
