Vehicle Description
1959 Ford Thunderbird Custom. Custom in this case is defined as the
body/chassis of a convertible with front damage joined
(professionally) by the front clip of a coupe. It's well done and
correct, but only the VIN# etc will know. As the owner is a Tbird
Club Member, it's a purist build to appear 100% stock original.
Vehicle is white over new red vinyl interior with a white top.
Except for the owner's disclosure and the ID plate, no one would
otherwise know its NOT a factory-built convertible (it's done that
well). Owner did have the presence of mind to save the VIN Plate(s)
off the convertible for anyone who may want to mount those etc. No
issues with DMV for title or insurance. Exterior: White paint
professionally painted and very nice-----a strong 85 to 95 for
quality. It is basecoate/clear coat etc. Red vinyl interior, dash &
door cards are exceptional. Carpet is decent for a driver. White
vinyl top is newer and works fine. Interior: Red Vinyl is in great
shape. Carpets showing signs of wear but still presentable.
Everything works as it should. Bumpers and body are not rusted and
in good shape. Tilt-away steering is always fun. Undercarriage: No
leaks. Looks good/solid (no rust). Tires have more than 50%
treadlife left. MECHANICAL: Engine/Trans are stock original -No
issues. They both work as they should. No smoking or unusual noises
or performance issues. VERY popular body style. Please Note The
