Please visit www.Survivor-Cars.com for additional photos,
information and a video. What makes for a good muscle car? Stripes
and spoilers? V8 engines with a healthy rumble from dual exhaust?
Bucket seats and a floor shifter? Well, this 1971 Oldsmobile
Cutlass Convertible has all of that and more! Let's start with the
exterior, which was painted in a beautiful Gold Metallic paint with
painted black stripes. Pair that with the color keyed Rally wheels
these Oldsmobiles are known for and you've got a real knockout! A
442 style spoiler on the rear, 442 rocker stripes, and a black top
really break the Gold up nicely and give this Olds a one-of-a-kind
look. Open the door and you will be happy to see black vinyl bucket
seats inviting you to take a seat and grab the sporty steering
wheel. A center console with floor shifter is always a welcomed
sight, and Oldsmobile knew how to walk the line between luxury and
muscle car with their woodgrain shifter knob. Those woodgrain
accents carry throughout the interior and bring a touch of class to
a car market that is too often focused solely on horsepower, and
not enough on the driver's comfort. Speaking of comfort, this
beauty also features working A/C, power steering, power brakes, a
power top, AM/FM radio, and more! Under the hood sits the infamous
Rocket 350 CID V8 engine which is backed by a 3-speed automatic
transmission. New dual exhaust has a been installed and it has a
great sound! The trunk is detailed and includes a spare tire and
convertible top boot. This car is nicely documented with receipts
and photos of the restoration which was completed in 2017. We also
have the original broadcast sheet, which rarely survives this long.
Receipts include a machine shop receipt for the engine and heads
being rebuilt, new bumpers, mirrors, lights, door handles, window
felts, sending units, chrome air cleaner, convertible top, weather
stripping, emblems, paint job, new trunk pan, new floor pans, wheel
well moldings, and more! This vehicle is eligible for an Extended
