Vehicle Description
Sleek dark paint and a lowered stance immediately grab your
attention on this 1967 Chevrolet C10, and it has the enhanced small
block power to back up this attitude. But the overall appeal of
this one is also in the little details you discover as you look at
the total package.
The stance on this one is terrific. The whole suspension is lowered
and it's sitting on a nice set of 18-inch Boss wheels. Plus,
there's a forward-leaning rake and extra-wide rear tires. So it
knows how to be an intimidator. The blue paint is a dark shade that
goes well with a performance truck like this. But more than just
aggressive, when the sunlight hits it, you see a nice metallic glow
that adds sophistication and really makes people take notice. This
idea of speed-with-sophistication continues in details like the
bright chrome bumpers, smooth finish, and the Chevrolet tailgate
lettering that matches the gray in the wheels. You can tell this
was a thoughtful build by the way the bed's liner paint is even
color-matched to the rest of the truck.
The interior has more of the aggressive attitude and the right
touches of vintage flair. Clean door panels, robust rubber
flooring, and the classic-style western pattern on the seat make
for a good classic pickup. The retro-style AM/FM radio w/aux input
and upgraded speakers in kick panels mean proper driving music. And
you can just tell this one was made to hit the road. The grippy
wood-rimmed Chevy sports steering wheel gives you a clear view of
the full factory-style gauge package and added tach.
The engine bay has a nice look with smooth dark inner walls that
funnel all your attention to the very tidy powerhouse. It has a
highly polished presentation with the valve covers, air grabber,
alternator, pulleys, and more all radiating within the darkness. At
the heart of this is a 350 cubic-inch V8 that's said to be stroked
to 383 ci, and it has the aggressive nature to back up this
feeling. They also added go-fast goodies like a Holley four-barrel
carburetor, an Edelbrock Victor Jr intake, and long tube headers
that exhale with added power and rumble into the dual exhaust and
Flowmaster mufflers. You'll even spot good supporting components,
like an upgraded distributor and an aluminum radiator. This was
built to be a solid driver, that's why you have upgrades like
grippy ZR-rated sport tires, newer bushings, and KYB shocks
all-around. Plus, this has great anytime driving features, like a
three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, front discs,
and the C10's trailing arm rear suspension.
