For Sale: 1974 Chevrolet C10 in Lithia Springs, Georgia

Vehicle Description

Trucks always have a solid and intimidating look to them, but this 1974 Chevrolet C10 takes it to a new level. It has the dark style, sporty stance, and dual-quad V8 to be a true muscle pickup.

The deep black paint has the kind of gloss that loves to show off the C10's well-defined sheet metal and show off a solid investment in the finish. It also has a midnight attitude that's perfect for an intimidator from every angle. In front, the tall cowl hood, crystal clear headlights, big chrome bumper, and billet style grille are equal parts premium and forceful. The rear shows off wide dual exhaust pipes and a flush custom roll pan. And the stance is terrific. It's sitting on large 22-inch American Racing Torq Thrust wheels with extra meaty rear rubber. And the log wheelbase of this long bed truck means even more size to really show off the forward-leaning rake.

The interior continues the dark style. But while the exterior is intimidating, you'll appreciate the stock and vintage style inside. There are good fundamentals with the carpeting, dash, door panels, and seat all looking excellent. You even have nice details, like the classic wood-like trim and the texture of the dual-spoke steering wheel. We're even told this is a one-owner truck, and the way this interior feels like a time capsule really makes that point here.

While the interior is preserved, you can instantly spot upgrades to the engine bay. After all, Chevy never gave you all this extra polish on the motor. And the reason for the extra attention is because there's also added performance in the 350 cubic-inch V8. It was upgraded to dual Edelbrock four-barrel carburetors, an upgraded intake, and long tube headers. This is also said to have a mild cam, and the lobe and rumble from the dual exhaust back up that feeling. As you look through the whole engine bay, you'll also spot good details, like the upgrade distributor, large brake booster, and a compressor that gives you provisions for R134a air conditioning (it will need servicing to blow cold again.) The three-speed automatic transmission and power steering make this an easy great driver. And the upgraded modern sport tires and front power disc brakes really give this truck a confident feeling out on the road.

Sleek, vintage, and powerful are a terrific combo when a truck is done as right as this one. That's why you can't let it slip away. Call today!!!
