Cincy Classic Cars is proud to offer this stunning 1984 El Camino SS which is in beautiful overall condition and priced to sell. This El Camino stayed in the south from new until 2021 when it came to Kentucky then in 1/2022 it came to Ohio. This truck spent most of its life in North Carolina. This El Camino features a wonderful re paint in factory colors with correct factory SS decals, a very nice stock Brown cloth interior, and the original numbers matching 305 engine. This El Camino is extremely solid with great lines and gaps and no visible rust anywhere on the body and no rust on the underside and no patch panels. This El Camino is finished in the beautiful and desirable color combinations of Tan over Brown cloth interior. Included Carfax shows the car was sold new in North Carolina and stayed there in the south until 2021 when it came to Kentucky. The miles show as Actual on the carfax with no issues and show as actual on the current Ohio title. There is a minor accident which shows on the carfax early in this El Camino's life in the year 1991. This incident was addressed decades ago and there is no evidence of any damage today.
Exterior
The Factory exterior is in beautiful restored stock condition. This El Camino was repainted in Factory colors with new SS decals and looks terrific. The paint is in great overall condition and has an excellent shine, great gloss, and is smooth to the touch. The underside is very solid with no patch panels or rust issues and the body is very solid and strait with no bubbling or cracked paint. Both bumpers are in excellent condition with no dents or pitting and they both have a great shine. There may be some minor imperfections that are not noticeable in the photos, but noting was intentionally excluded from the photos. The tires have good tread left and are sized 215/70 R14 and the wheels are OEM originals and are in great overall shape and have no curb rash and sport original trim rings. The rear cargo compartment and spare tire storage area are both solid and clean and the original spare tire is still in place with the original jack. The rear tail gate works properly and the bed of this truck was also repainted and its very solid with no rust issues and the paint is very nice in the bed.
Interior
The Brown interior of this El Camino is in great overall stock condition. The seat covers appear to be original stock and are in terrific shape with no major wear or rips. The carpet looks great with no major stains, rips, or holes. The original dash is in great overall condition with no cracks or fading. The original AM/FM stereo is still in place in this truck and was working but has no sound right now but powers up. Thankfully the dash has not been cut for a modern stereo. The original door panels are in good condition and both door pulls are solid and in tact. The headliner is in great overall condition. All interior lights and gauges work as they should. The power windows, wipers, and blower motor all work. This El Camino has factory air conditioning and all components remain in place. The horn is not working.
Mechanical
This El Camino is in good mechanical condition and the numbers matching original 305 engine still remains in this truck and runs well. A new fuel pump was recently added. We have driven this El Camino many times and it drives well, it does not run hot, rides tight, has good power, and is a true joy to drive. There are no loud rattles or annoying noises while driving the car. The brakes do not pull and stop as they should. Also, the engine is clean and nicely detailed as one can see from the photos. The exhaust is in stock layout but is older and has some small holes. This El Camino has been loved and well cared for by its previous owners and the overall condition of the truck and the way it runs and drives validates that. Its a great driver that would show well at local car shows and cruise inns.
