Vehicle Description
HIGHLIGHTS: LS1 fuel-injected V8! Awesome resto-mod! 6-speed manual
transmission, QA1 shocks, 4-link suspension, and more!
BODY OVERVIEW: The body is clean and straight, showing that this
car has been cared for since the restoration and modifications took
place. The body lines are crisp and sharp, and this Ventura is
bound to turn some heads! This car has covered over 26,000 miles
since it was completed, and as such there are some very minor
defects to be found. Overall, the body is very clean and
straight.
PAINT CONDITION OVERVIEW: Although the build on this Ventura is
timeless, it isn't a brand new fresh build either. As mentioned
above, this puppy has clocked some serious miles since being
completed, and there are some normal, minor paint defects to be
found (which we affectionately refer to as 'road rash'). This car
has done multiple Hot Rod Power tour events, and after covering
that many miles, well, it's bound to have picked up some
environmental souvenirs along the way. All in all, the paint shows
well and is in very ideal condition for a vehicle that is intended
to be used and driven.
INTERIOR CONDITION OVERVIEW: A problem many individuals face when
building a classic car for comfort and longevity is installing an
interior that sits well for long periods of time without blowing
the budget. A comfortable interior isn't cheap, and a cheap
interior isn't comfortable! The builder of this car liked the seats
in his modern Honda Civic so much, he put the same ones in his
Pontiac! Heck, he even installed the console! Color us surprised at
what a comfortable, functional, and appealing interior this is. And
what a great fit! Much like the rest of the car, the interior is in
great overall condition showing only normal signs of use over the
years. This thing even has A/C and cruise control!
MECHANICAL OVERVIEW: Lift the hood and you'll be greeted by an LS1
V8, appropriately fitted with GTO covers. The engine fits in the
bay nicely, and actually looks like it belongs there too! This
Ventura sounds great, runs great, and is simply a blast to drive.
You'd be hard pressed to find another car that was this cool and
comfortable to drive in this price range! Underneath the car we
have QA1 shocks and 4-link suspension.
WHAT YOU'LL LOVE ABOUT THIS CAR: It has everything the average
restomod buyer could want, without being an average restomod.
WHAT YOU MIGHT HATE ABOUT THIS CAR: It's not a Nova.
DOES IT NEED ANYTHING? This car is ready to go!
WHAT BUYER IS LOOKING FOR THIS CAR? Have you always wanted
something nobody else has, without spending your life savings to
get it? Wanted a Nova but tired of seeing Novas at every show and
cruise-in? This is the car for you!
