Vehicle Description
An ultra-hot Corvette Z06 is a terrific car ready to take on any
track. But in this case, you also have 1 of only 399 examples of
the 2007 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Ron Fellows Edition, and it has
averaged only about 900 miles annually. So this means you have both
an awesome driver and a collector car preserved to be a true
collector's investment.
Ron Fellows is a true North American racing champion, and he
absolutely deserves a C6 commemorating his victories in the C6R. So
Chevrolet made sure these were going to be special. Fellows is
Canadian, and so it only seems fitting that this was the first Z06
made in Arctic White. It was part of its own special paint code
because these also got exclusive Grand Sport-style fender stripes
with maple leaf embedded within the pattern. And the low mileage
and great care mean this has a show-ready look, right down to the
windshield banner. Because this celebrates a racing hero, the Z06
is the right model to use. Chevy engineered these to be a real
upgrade over the already awesome standard C6. There's the wider
stance aided by carbon fiber fenders. It also has an exclusive
full-width rear spoiler and functional scoops to aid in cooling and
channeling the air. The total package makes this both look more
aggressive and allows you to drive more aggressively. And because
this one looks so good, it's great to have a mirror-like polish on
the Z06's exclusive alloys.
The mixture of premium and performance continues inside. Black and
red is one of the best combos around, and of course, part of this
premium feel is its level of preservation. When you do get behind
the wheel, you instantly get the tingle of a car made for drivers.
You have the full Z06 branded instrumentation, a grippy
leather-wrapped steering wheel, and head-up display. The special
edition comes loaded with everything you want, including dual-zone
climate control, heated seats, power seats, power windows, power
locks, keyless entry & ignition, speed-sensitive power steering,
and the infotainment system with AM/FM/CD/XM Bose stereo. A modern
classic also means modern safety features such as dual front
airbags, side airbags, and ABS. These were so loaded that there
were only two options available: satellite navigation and OnStar...
and this one has them both. So it makes this true rarity even more
collectible. And just in case you even need to prove just how
extraordinary this car is, Ron Fellows' actual signature is inside
the center console noting that this is #352.
The core of the special Z06 package is its original all-aluminum
427 cubic inch V8. The LS7 motor is a collectible all on its own.
It returned Corvettes to the iconic displacement while bringing it
into the modern fuel-injected era. So it's especially nice to have
the motor in this special edition car looking so factory fresh.
With 505 horsepower on tap, it truly lives up to the heritage put
forward by this limited production race car tribute. It fires up
and idles as any good modern machine should, but that special Z06
exhaust system really lets you know this one wants to play. It's
mated to a six-speed gearbox that gives you full control all the
way to the 7000 RPM redline. The Z06's body and chassis shaved
precious pounds by substituting lighter materials than the base
Corvette, and components like the transmission and differential
have their own coolers for track use. Massive brakes with bright
red six-piston calipers up front and four-piston units out back
will put up with all the punishment you can dish out. Plus, this is
all part of a package with a limited-slip rear end and an adaptive
fully independent suspension topped off with Goodyear Eagle F1
performance tires (new with only about 1,400 miles on them.)
The sale comes complete with the right pieces for a collectible
like this, including the factory buildsheet, original window
sticker, owner's manual packet, and maintenance records. So when
you want a modern Corvette with pedigree and power, you know this
rare Ron Fellows Edition coupe can't be beaten. Call today!!!
