This 1933 Ford Roadster just seems to be a bit smoother and sleeker
than the other customs out there. And while you're admiring the
slingshot style, don't forget to check out the strong small block
V8, four-wheel disc brakes, overdrive transmission, luxury leather
interior, and all the other pieces that make this so much more than
just a looker.
This is a quality fiberglass body built by Alloway's Hot Rod Shop,
and they have an award-worthy style. There is a true sleekness to
this car. It looks like it was formed by the wind with the curvy
waterfall grille and the raked windshield. Or maybe it was forged
in fire by the way the amazing red paint has a bright burning glow.
There's no need for bumpers, fenders, or extra trim to get in the
way of one of the most attractive styles around. This is a proper
classic street machine, and so there is classic American
brightwork. But now it's showing off the performance side in places
like the polished front suspension and Coys alloys with an
aggressive 17/20 inch front/rear stance.
The interior has a freshness and elegance that deserves to always
be on display in this roadster. It starts with comfy individual
bucket seats finished in supple tan leather. The side panels,
center console, carpet piping, and steering wheel are all done to
match. Even the trunk is fully coordinated in this thoughtful and
uniform build. There are even nice additions for a good cruiser
like cup holders and an AM/FM/XM touchscreen infotainment system
with USB and Bluetooth. But you can really tell the main focus is
on you. There's a Lecarra sports steering wheel on a tilt column, a
Lokar shifter, a four-speed automatic transmission with overdrive,
and the bright red dash is dominated by clean white-faced
gauges.
The piano hinge hood always looks cool when open. And the engine
bay has the smooth firewall, polished components, and tidy style of
a motor that wants to be on display. While this is stylish, you
also have the substance of a 302 cubic-inch V8 with a four-barrel
carburetor on top. And the glasspack style dual exhaust has a
terrific V8 tune. But don't just listen to it; check out the cool
fully wrapped pipes in the undercarriage photos. There you'll also
spot the ultra-clean color-matched frame that shows off this car's
strength. There's also the tubular control arm independent front
end, a four-link rear suspension, Currie 9-inch rear axle, and both
adjustable coilovers and disc brakes behind each wheel. So this
sleek roadster is also capable of some powerful moves.
Fresh, sleek, supple, powerful, and all-around awesome... this is
the bright red roadster that you know you need in your garage. Call
