Vehicle Description
Plenty of bright silver and chrome join a strong crate V8, updated
suspension, and an overdrive transmission on this 1958 Chevrolet
Apache. It really makes for the kind of classic pickup that you'll
love to drive.
The silver paint and a lowered stance announce that this truck is
something special and different. Even with the updated appearance,
a stepside Apache makes for a terrific vintage look. So it retains
all the best classic pieces with bright chrome bumpers, a bright
chrome grille, and plenty of real wood in the truck bed. And the
wheels do a great job of merging the worlds of classic and new.
They are made to look like classic Chevy Rally units, but they're
actually a modern 20-inch alloy. The overall appeal of this one is
that it delivers the kind of custom look that will turn heads. And
as you look at the full package, the finish won't make you nervous
about driving it, and the upgrades make it easier to enjoy. So it's
one of those kinds of classic trucks that people admire because it
shows in many of the same places you'd see a daily driver.
The exterior silver returns inside, and now it's joined by a
tasteful back on the clean bench seat and plush carpeting. It's
built to be a cruiser, and so you'll see well-integrated upgrades,
like the AM/FM stereo w/Bluetooth, 12-volt outlets, and a fully
upgraded subwoofer speaker system. And a driver's class means
upgrades like the wood and chrome sports steering wheel, a polished
tilt column, and a full Dakota Digital gauge package with large
speedo and tach.
The engine bay has a today look plenty of shine, and even the right
features, like an aluminum radiator w/electric fan. But the real
secret to its appeal is that you have a hardy 350 cubic-inch crate
V8 from the masters at BluePrint. It's built right with an
Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, MSD distributor, Holley fuel
pressure regulator, and long tube headers feeding into the dual
exhaust. The motor alone was nearly a $4k investment that happened
in 2019. In fact, we have recipes documenting thousands $$$$
invested within the last few years in keeping this a solid cruiser.
This includes a new four-speed automatic transmission with
highway-friendly overdrive. You also have an updated independent
front suspension, the gas tank moved to the rear, power steering,
power brakes, and front discs. And the upgraded wheels mean you get
to fit a set of modern and grippy tires.
This classic Apache has been given the right investments to be an
easy driver for near or far. So it's the cool classic that was
built for those who believe in driving something distinctive. Call
