Vehicle Description
This 1965 Ford Mustang GT Tribute has been restored to be an
all-around attractive coupe. The sleek metallic paint, bright
chrome, detailed interior, four-speed, and freshly rebuilt V8 are
all about a total package that fulfills true classic car
desire.
Red Mustangs always instantly attract an audience, and this one
does it one better with its factory-correct Vintage Burgundy. After
all, the taker tone gives it a hint of added sophistication. It was
resprayed as part of the car's comprehensive restoration. That
means you get a nice metallic luster that goes well with the
outstanding chrome bumpers and brightwork trim. But this car also
never loses sight of the idea that it's a driver-ready coupe. After
all, it was given the right GT upgrades like the fog lights in the
grille, all the correct badging, and trumpeted dual exhaust tips
coming through the rear valence. And the rocker's white triple
stripe really stands out nicely.
The trim tag tells us the Palomino tan interior is also factory
correct. It's a distinctive color, and so it looks like they spent
a small fortune to make it terrific. Everything from the seats, to
the door panels, to the carpeting carries the kind of quality that
tells you they wanted this to feel like a time capsule. You'll even
love all the little details, like the working courtesy lights, pony
floor mats, and the jack instruction affixed to the inside of the
trunk. And this feels like a proper driver's coupe with front
bucket seats, a center console, and the thin/grippy factory wheel
finished in a matching tan.
The motor was rebuilt in 2020 and has under 2k miles on it. You can
really see the level of this fresh investment by the way the engine
bay loves looking vintage. After all, the golden valve covers and
matching big air grabber are one of the best ways to show off the
289 cubic-inch V8. And this ultra-tidy setup really lest it take
center-stage. Plus, you'll love all the details, like the decals,
washer fluid bag, FoMoCo hoses, and vintage topper for the battery.
More than just look good, this has GT-style added pep with an
Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor and Edelbrock intake. It's a
strong-running V8 package, and it only gets better when you realize
that you're in full control thanks to the four-speed manual
transmission. The sports car nature of this GT tribute means it
likes you to feel the road. But it also wants to give you a solid
feeling when you're out driving. That's why you have a recently
redone front end with new components and bushings. There are also
upgrades like the subframe connectors, new brake components, and
wide BF Goodrich T/A tires on iconic styled steel wheels.
This is the restored coupe that you can drive and show with pride.
That's the kind of thing we love when it's time for a classic you
can fully enjoy on day one. Call today!!!
