Factory Built Convertible 70 Series with the 3.0L 1KZT Diesel and
Half Doors.... one of the coolest rigs out there from the factory
and this one has a crazy amount of modifications. Intercooler with
side exit exhaust! Since taking pictures we have updated the front
seats and installed a brand new set of Corbeau reclining racing
seats and a bluetooth headunit.This Toyota is stored in our Aiken,
SC climate controlled warehouse and comes with South Carolina

searching for 70 Series Land Cruisers in particular the soft top
half door models. The KZJ70 shown here is an excellent combination
of options and drive train. The Land Cruiser features the rare
combination of 1KZT 3.0L diesel, manual transmission, convertible
body configuration with half doors, and was factory built with a
limited slip differential. Since new this LC has received a
significant number of performance, suspension, safety, and
aesthetic upgrades.This is a left-hand drive example sold new and
lived it's entire life in France until recently being imported by
Car Cave. A 3.0L turbo diesel powers this truck and is mated to a
five-speed manual transmission and two-speed transfer case. The
smooth running ultra reliable Toyota 1KZ-TE is a 3.0L (2,982 cc)
Single Overhead Cam indirect injection turbo diesel. Front hubs
have been converted and upgraded to manual Aisin hubs with a push
button high range and floor shifted transfer case when low range is
necessary. The KZJ70 is finished in Toyota Paint Code 045 also
known as basic white. Factory front seats have been replaced with
Outback Import racing seats and 5-point harnesses although the
factory 3-point safety belts are still installed. Factory equipment
includes manual windows, manual locks, tilt wheel, center console,
idle control speed, power steering, power brakes, intermittent
wipers, suspension front seats, and rear heat. The front windshield
does fold down with quick release wiper arms to accelerate the
process. The factory gauge cluster includes: tachometer,
speedometer, temperature, fuel, oil pressure, and voltmeter. The
dash mounted factory altimeter, inclinometer, and exterior
temperature gauges have been removed in favor of a set of
non-functional aftermarket gauges. A brand new set of five
285/75R16 Yokohama Geolander M/T tires and Pro Comp 69 16x8 Flat
Black wheels keep rubber on the ground. Timing belt was changed at
approximately 93,000 miles according to records.Now for the fun
stuff. This Land Cruiser has a long list of mods and extensive
