1963 Ford Thunderbird Convertible with 67,137 original miles. Diamond Blue exterior with Teal / Blue interior. 390 V-8. Though not an original factory Roadster, it does have the Roadster package tonneau top and passenger grab bar. Swing-away steering column. Engine runs very well. This T-Bird has been in the family for over two decades, but garaged and unused for more than ten years. Recently this T-Bird has undergone reconditioning to get it up and running again, to include a new brake system (New brake booster, master cylinder, wheel cylinders, flex and brake lines), new fuel pump and line, rebuilt transmission, new tires, new carburetor, rebuilt steering box, new radiator hoses and new power window motors. Records for all work completed during ownership can be presented upon request. Known problems: Convertible top has a rip and will need to be replaced, and there is also undercarriage rust as seen in the photos. The average repair estimate for the undercarriage rust was $7500. A new starter will also be needed. Unfortunately I'm unable to complete the restoration as I got married, moved, and can't keep it. More photos are available upon request.
