Vehicle Description
The one owner/builder is a disabled Vietnam combat veteran in need
of the therapeutic value of building his "Dream Car." Complete
attention to detail with all new parts and custom designs, with
6,483 actual miles. This is an early generation one Factory Five
GT65 coupe that was completed in 2004 (Serial # FFR5002CP). Powered
by a professionally built high-performance Ford 347ci V8 DSS
Stroker engine with Forged Flathead pistons, set at Zero Deck and
backed by a TREMEC T600 5-speed manual transmission. Features
billet aluminum main support, custom ground roller, cam rocker stud
girdles, competition cams, Edelbrock Performer RPM air-gap intake,
Earl Parker Stage II complete modification to a Holley Carburetor,
oil-cooled, electric water pump, electric fan with Griffen
radiator, complete ceramic-coated exhaust system, complete
Aeromotive fuel system, MSD digital ignition system and a King
Cobra clutch kit. The factory five frame and body were finished in
Pearl British Racing Green with a Pearl Light Taupe Strip. Rides on
Fire Hawk Indy 500 wheels made by Wheel Studio of California.
Stopping power is provided by front and rear brakes with an
electric power booster. Additional features include Flaming River
rack & pinion, Painless wiring harness, Optimum Red Top battery and
custom-made plexiglass windows. Custom car cover, complete build
pictures, parts invoices and carrying case are included. NOTE:
Complete Vintage Air climate-control unit needs an electric wiring
harness, air ducts and vents. Small crack in the headlight.
