This 1988 Dodge Power Ram 100 (W100) Short Box 4x4 Pickup is a rust
free New Mexico truck that is extra clean and was selectively
restored by the last owner. It is a great looking truck that runs
and drives just as nice as it looks. The body on this Dodge is
straight and clean and there are no rust issues with this truck and
there never have been. The underside is about as clean as they come
and you can see the picture on our website. It was professionally
repainted in its original color of Twilight Blue and the paint
looks fantastic. The chrome and moldings all appear to be original
and are still in excellent condition. The bed of the truck bed was
professionally rhino lined.
The interior is also in excellent condition and is mostly original,
except for the seat. They added an aftermarket seat that is super
comfortable and fits the truck well. The rest appears to be all
original and is in excellent shape including the dash. The
headlights, taillights, brakelights, and turn signals are all
working. The gauges, heat and wipers are all working. This is an AC
truck, but it is not blowing cold, and the horn does not work.
Mechanically this truck is excellent!!! It runs and drives down the
road awesome and is very tight. The 318 V8 engine starts easily and
runs strong with no issues or red flags. The engine appears to be
all original and stock and was rebuilt at some point according to
the last owner (we did not get receipt). The transmission is the
np435, 4 Speed Manual that you rarely see in this vintage of Dodge
and the fact that it is a Short Bed is better yet. It is mated to
the np241 transfer case and the 4WD works like it should. It has
the 9.25 rear end with 3.23 gears and the front end is a Dana 44
with 3.23 gears. This is all sitting on new set of aluminum rims
with newer 31 Inch All Terrain tires. Nice truck!!!
