Vehicle Description
This 1963 Chevrolet Impala SS is a beautifully restored, mild
custom with fantastic options! Initially debuting in 1958, then as
an option package for the Bel Air, the Impala sat atop Chevrolet's
model hierarchy for years to come. By 1963, the Chevrolet Impala
had become its own separate model while undergoing several body
style changes since its inception in '58. The Impala was
Chevrolet's top-of-the-line full-size model in '63. Of course, an
Impala optioned with the Super Sport package was the nicest
passenger car in Chevy's lineup at the time. The Super Sport
Impalas came complete with special SS-specific exterior trim and
special SS interior upgrades such as bucket seats and center
consoles. This particular example comes to us from a southern-based
collector who purchased the car from another southern collector.
Powering this '63 Impala is an upgraded 454 Cubic Inch V8 engine
that is paired with a single 4 barrel Edelbrock carburetor. The big
block 454 V8 is hooked up to an Automatic Transmission ensuring
that anybody can take this Chevy for a cruise around the block.
This '63 Impala is loaded with options! With power brakes, bringing
this Impala to a stop is much easier especially with all those
extra cubes under the hood. Power steering simplifies getting in
and out of those tight garage spaces or car show spots, and just
improves the overall driving experience. This 1963 Impala has also
been retrofitted with a modern air conditioning system so that you
can stay cool even on the hottest summer days. Riding on raised
letter radial tires on steel rims outfitted with Rally hubcaps and
beauty rings, this 1963 Chevrolet has a nice custom look and a
fantastic ride. The exterior on this 1963 Impala is stunning,
having been beautifully refinished in Riverside Red. The interior
looks like it's brand new! The front bucket seats and rear bench
seat have been reupholstered in black vinyl, just how this car came
back in 1963. The padded dash, door panels, and steering wheel all
are in fantastic condition as well and appear to be in their stock
configuration. The dash is equipped with a 120 MPH speedometer,
fuel gauge, and clock. The original AM radio has been upgraded to a
late-model, correct looking, AM/FM system so that you can listen to
all of your tunes rolling down the road. Whether you're looking for
your very first classic car or you're looking to add to your
current fleet of collector cars, this 1963 Chevrolet Impala SS
would be an excellent choice. Give us a call today!
