Vehicle Description
This is an officially licensed and certified "Eleanor Tribute"
build and comes with the genuine Eleanor certification paperwork,
Eleanor body VIN plate and emblems issued by Gone in 60 Seconds
LLC. This 1967 custom coupe Resto-Mod conversion was fully
reconditioned, and every nut and bolt on this car is new. This is
completely fresh out of the wrapper with test miles. Full
rotisserie-restored Resto-Mod with movie-correct Eleanor body
modifications and accessories, including the very cool side-exit
dual exhaust - and of course it would not be Eleanor without the
wired Go-Baby-Go NOS armed dash switch (non-operational), Eleanor
nitrous bottle and shifter knob. Underneath the distinctive domed
Eleanor hood sits a freshly built Ford FE 428ci big-block engine,
which is fuel-injected with eight downdraft stacks; it is so fresh
it is still filled with break-in oil. This potent big-block 428ci
power is coupled to a factory issue 4-speed Toploader manual
transmission with a Hurst shifter for a firm, trouble-free
performance. It exhales through a 2.5-inch throaty exhaust, which
exits through the side rockers. The exhaust system is equipped with
electric variable-controlled (from your driver's seat) exhaust
dumps so you can instantly adjust the exhaust volume from a full
muffler to deafening and nasty open headers (or any variation in
between). It was designed to be a perfect blend of the iconic
Eleanor styling with updated and modern suspension for improved
reliability and performance. Most of the 1967 factory suspension
was replaced with modern technology. The new suspension assembly
includes upgraded rear 4-link rear suspension with adjustable
coilovers, a stout Ford 9-inch rear end and front adjustable
coilover shocks with power steering. It is equipped with four-wheel
power disc brakes with drilled and slotted rotors and is cooled
with a quality aluminum radiator and electric fan. Professionally
finished in Pepper Gray Metallic 2-Stage PPG exterior paint along
with rich black Rally body stripes and multiple layers of clear
coat over the top. The underside of the fastback and the engine
compartment areas were prepared as meticulously as the exterior and
painted in the body color, with many coats of clear to allow it to
be wiped down with ease. The overall body gaps and alignment are
laser-straight, and the fit and finish of the scoops and custom
body modifications were hand-fitted for 90-degree seams. Everything
is so Eleanor-correct, right down to the proper sequential
taillights, stainless-steel bullet-style sideview mirror and
Eleanor style flip-up gas-filler lid. It is also equipped with
vintage-styled modern climate control and an electric trunk
release. The all-new deluxe interior features custom seats, a
custom center console and stainless-steel billet trim on the dash
and door panels. The rear area is equipped with a matching
factory-style fold-down seat with the NOS bottle located behind it.
It also has a custom-painted roll bar with a certified seatbelt
harness. The dash cluster is fitted with retro-styled brand-new
modern Velocity gauges and a custom wood-styled vintage steering
wheel. Sound is provided by a Retrosound stereo with Bluetooth
connectivity. All the accessories, extensive gauges and lighting,
including the front blue driving lights and fog lights, operate and
function correctly with the flip of a toggle switch. In addition,
it has custom show-ready LED lighting in the engine area and cabin,
as well as exterior ground effects. It has two 12-volt batteries.
This Eleanor fastback rolls on custom Eleanor-style wheels with
beefy performance tires for an aggressive stance. It comes complete
with a full start-to-finish build book and a 30x40-inch
professionally assembled "Gone in 60 Seconds" framed presentation
of the official movie poster, along with authentic officially
"signed" photos of the lead cast members Nicolas Cage and Angelina
Jolie.
