Recently completed show-winning, Pro-Touring piece of art. It has
custom touches and quality parts throughout with attention to
detail. Built by Ronnie's Hot Rods in Senatobia, MS. The body was
acid-dipped and finished in stunning PPG Starfire Blue over a Paul
Atkins black leather interior. A new supercharged 6.2-liter LSA was
built in-house producing 850hp and 840 ft/lbs (712hp/707 ft/lbs to
the wheels on 91 octane). The engine build includes a Kong ported
supercharger and snout, Nick William's 103mm throttle body, DMS
cam, ID1050 injectors, Wegner accessories and pulleys, BTR
lifters/springs/pushrods/trunnion and Wegner valve covers. Exhaust
gases exit through hand-built 17/8-inch headers feeding into dual
3-inch X-pipe using SW tubing and cutouts. Gear shifting is handled
by a 6-speed close-ratio T56 Magnum manual transmission with a
twin-disc McLeod RST clutch. QA1 carbon-fiber driveshaft spins the
narrowed Currie 9-inch rear housing 3.70 gears and Truetrac
differential. Stopping chores are handled by the Kore3 C6 Z06
brakes front and rear with a Wilwood master and Hydra-Boost with
proportioning valve and an E-Stopp e-brake system. Ride quality is
handled through a fully adjustable RideTech coil system suspension
with front and rear sway bars. A Flaming River tilt column and LEE
800 close-ratio box provide steering. All this rides on 19x9-inch
front and 20x12-inch back Boze Camber wheels wrapped in 255/325
Cup2s respectively. Additional features include shaved drip rails,
smoothed cowl, smoothed, tucked and modified bumpers, smoothed
fender flares, reworked a-pillar/beltline transition, one-off hood,
and hand-built inner fenders, firewall and rear tubs. The complete
custom Paul Atkins interior features front seats that are modified
RECARO Specialists and received upgraded leather, while the rear
seats were built by Atkins to match the RECAROs. Inside you'll find
a suede one-piece headliner and Mercedes-Benz carpet. The dash is a
custom piece by Ronnie Geeslin and houses a Dakota Digital HDX
cluster, Vintage Air climate control with black billet controls and
a Kenwood Bluetooth stereo. Other features include XPEL PPF Clayton
Machine pedals, shifter and handles, a 10-inch JL Audio sub, front
and rear Morris 3-point retractable seat belts, NuRelic power
windows with all-new glass, an integrated 8-point cage with
A-pillar tie-in and a removable harness bar, Rick's stainless tank,
Dapper LED headlights, Dakota LED taillights, Griffin Radiator,
custom HXR and SPAL fans. The frame and every suspension component
have been painted a dark metallic gray. The engine bay and bottom
of the car are painted to match the exterior but covered in a matte
clear. In just a few shows it has become a Daryl Starbird Fine9
qualifier, Best Street Machine, Goodguys 2021 Chevy Muscle pick,
Super Chevy - Best Chevelle, Best in Class and Most Outstanding
Craftsmanship. Also recipient of multiple Best Interior and Best
Engine/Motor awards.
