Nicknamed "Venom," this 1962 Cadillac De Ville underwent a
no-expense-spared rotisserie restoration in 2010 and a second
restoration in 2019 where it received a new paint and an engine
transplant. Under the hood is a GM LS V8 engine fitted with twin
64mm turbos. Producing a claimed 650hp at the wheels the V8 was
custom-built for forced induction and features a COMP camshaft, ARP
head studs, Holley Dominator ECU and 83-pound injectors. Drive is
sent to the rear wheels via a 4L60 automatic transmission with 3.70
gears a Moser 9-inch rear end, 35-spline axles and Truetrac
differential. During the first restoration in 2010 the frame was
fully powder-coated in silver, along with all suspension
components. Additionally, the suspension was upgraded to
self-leveling air-ride technology, with a digital display. Stopping
power is provided by a set of power Wilwood disc brakes with a
Wilwood master cylinder. Finished in triple black, the Caddy rides
20-inch Detroit Steel wheels with whitewall tires. The Cadillac
features power steering, power windows and a black canvas power
convertible top.
