Vehicle Description
This 1967 Corvette Sting Ray Resto-Mod was assembled over three
years. No expense was spared on the build, and all engine and
interior components have been customized. Powering this Resto-Mod
Corvette is a GM Performance Connect & Cruise crate powertrain
system, including a 6.2-liter LS3 crate engine putting out 525hp
and 486 ft/lbs of torque with a Chevrolet Performance engine
control system. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a heavy-duty
T56 6-speed manual transmission with a Chevrolet Performance
transmission installation kit. The engine has been outfitted with a
chrome-plated sheet metal Holley Sniper EFI intake manifold, Billet
Specialties LS smooth modular chrome plated cold-air intake
manifold and stainless-steel headers and exhaust. Sitting on a
powder-coated Street Shop C2/C7 chassis, this Corvette is equipped
with a Street Shop billet rear end housing, C7 Corvette front and
rear suspension, QA1 single adjustable front and rear shocks, as
well as Wilwood front and rear disc brakes with drilled and slotted
rotors. Further stopping power is enabled with an electric power
brake kit made by ABS, as well as Cover-Loc Venom wheels with
optional silver finish and 3-spoke spinners wrapped in Diamondback
Classic ST1 red line radial tires. The interior features a custom
dash and flow-through console, with LED lighting in the dash, door
panels and center console, Flaming River steering column topped
with a Billet Specialties steering wheel, Vintage Air, Dakota
Digital instrumentation and cruise control, and a Sony multimedia
receiver with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and Bluetooth.
