For Sale at Auction: 1969 Ford Mustang in Scottsdale, Arizona

This Boss 429, KK No. 2023, underwent a rotisserie concours-correct restoration with factory-correct finishes by marquee specialist Kevin's Klassic Cars in Cannon Falls, MN. Refinished in its original color of Candy Apple Red with a black Clarion-knit interior, this Boss is powered by a matching-numbers 429ci V8 engine mated to a 4-speed close-ratio manual transmission. All casting dates on the components are correct, all date codes are correct and precede the build of this Boss 429. The fresh restoration was finished in 2018 and includes pictures of all major components, dates and casting numbers. This fully restored Boss is documented by a Deluxe Marti Report, original Ford invoice and two-page Lois Eminger report. In 1969, Ford needed to homologate its new NASCAR Boss 429 engine, which required installation into passenger cars. The Mustang was selected as the platform, and KK No. 2023 is one of 201 Red Boss 429s produced. A one-inch stack of restoration receipts and documentation is included with this car.
