For Sale at Auction: 1956 Chevrolet Nomad in Scottsdale, Arizona

Vehicle Description

The design of this over-the-top, highly awarded 1956 custom Nomad was conceived by renowned Brian Stupski of Problem Child Kustom Studio and executed by the professionals at G3 Rods to the highest of show-quality standards. With over $450,000 and thousands of man-hours invested, this Nomad stands apart with its extensive list of custom modifications and features like the custom-formed front sheet metal and wheel openings, G3Rods-exclusive grille and grille shell, modified front bumper, chopped and tucked rear bumper, custom drip rails and shaved door handles. And details such as hidden tailgate hinges, mini-tubs that meld perfectly into the rear belly pan and a custom engine compartment. Even the side trim on this Chevy is one-off, custom machined out of aluminum and then chromed to show-quality standards, as has all the trim, bumpers and molding. It also has JW Speaker headlights and LED Dakota Digital taillights. The exterior is expertly finished in two-stage BASF Glasurit Summit White and topped off with custom emblems. The custom interior is designed by Eric Brockmeyer and features a custom dash inset with Dakota Digital gauges, a Billet Specialties chromed and leather-wrapped steering wheel attached to an Ididit steering column, and Corbeau seats wrapped in Deep Blood Red leather with custom emblems and stitching. The interior was produced by JS Custom Interiors and features a one-of-a-kind center console and door panels with hidden LEDs, also covered in Deep Blood Red leather. The black leather floors accentuate the Kugel Komponents pedal assembly with chromed custom pedals. Creature comforts include a Vintage Air climate control system and a complete KICKER sound system with a touchscreen Pioneer head unit that includes navigation. Power comes from a Jack Gibbs all-aluminum 409ci Chevy block bored to 515ci producing over 550hp and 605 ft/lbs of torque, and is equipped with Edelbrock heads and water pump, a COMP Cam custom-grind camshaft, Ross Racing pistons, a custom Hogan Cross-Ram manifold fitted with Inglese 8-stack fuel injection, MSD ignition, Sinister Products pulley system and a Performance Rod and Custom aluminum radiator. Backing the powerplant is a 4L80E automatic transmission from Gearstar and an Eaton Detroit TrueTrac rear end with 3.70 gears. The exhaust consists of custom ceramic-coated stainless-steel headers and a hydroformed bent 3-inch stainless exhaust system with Flowmaster 40 Series polished mufflers. Underneath sits an Art Morrison chassis featuring an independent front suspension, coilover four-bar rear suspension, and all polished stainless-steel lines and fittings. Stopping power comes from Wilwood disc brakes with 6-piston calipers and 13-inch drilled and slotted rotors. The Nomad rides on stunning 18x8-inch front and 20x12-inch rear Schott Modsport wheels with knock-offs, wrapped in Pirelli P Zero tires. Featured by SATA at SEMA 2017, it has an extensive awards history, most notably the Grand National Roadster Show Stitch of Excellence Award, Hot August Nights Cup Top 5 Award, Tri-Five Nationals Top 5, Goodguys Custom Rod of the Year Finalist, Street Rodder Top 100 and numerous Best of Show and Builders Choice awards. **SOLD ON BONDED TITLE** **TITLE IN TRANSIT**
