Vehicle Description
This unrestored 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 429 fastback features mostly
original paint, drivetrain, original Ram air cleaner, date-coded
carburetor, early C9AF-U distributor and "TS" Ford script
headlights with factory chrome trim. It has its factory exhaust -
including H-pipe, heat tube and flapper, resonators, date-coded
transverse muffler, exhaust hangers and turndowns - original
date-coded KKX shocks and suspension, space-saver tire, canister,
jack and handle, and headlight aimer bag. The car also has its
correct replacement battery with correct vent caps and new Goodyear
F-60-15 Polyglas tires with date-coded wheels with the original
two-piece lug nuts. It also features its original interior,
including the original carpet and trunk mat, and still has all the
original Carlite glass throughout. One of the last rare 820 S-code
NASCAR engine cars built. Inspected by Boss guru Ed Meyer and has
received two Chairman's Awards for survivor cars. Deluxe Marti
Report with copy of Window Sticker as well as Ford papers and
letters. Original dealer card, owner's manual with supplement,
litter bag, safety and warranty book. Build Sheets still under the
carpet in back, never been removed, copies of titles (including
original title signed by 17-year-old original owner's mother
because he was too young to sign), copy of original financial
paperwork from Caterpillar Financial, as the original owner worked
for Caterpillar before going to Vietnam. Still has the original
John Bearce Ford dealer sticker on the back of the car. Featured in
