Built by Velocity Restorations, this 1968 Chevrolet Chevelle is
offered from the personal collection of actor and comedian David
Spade. Under the hood is an upgraded GM LS3 V8 engine displacing
6.2 liters and mated to a 4L70E automatic transmission. The LS3
features stainless American Racing long-tube headers as well as a
custom stainless-steel dual exhaust system with MagnaFlow mufflers.
The engine has also been fitted with a Concept One serpentine drive
and Holley Performance fuel rails. The stock frame was fully
powder-coated in Satin Black, and the Chevelle features a Detroit
Speed suspension with Stage 3 tubular front and rear suspension
with coilover shocks. Braking power comes by a way of a set of Baer
brakes tucked behind a set of Forgeline wheels. The Chevelle is
finished in PPG Deep Black with Satin Black stripes outlined with
Kolor Kandy Red. All of the lower exterior chrome has been deleted
and the trim, bumpers engine bay are all finished in Satin Black to
match the stripes. For sound insulation, the interior is fully
lined with Dynamat and the Chevelle features a fully bespoke
interior. The seats were taken from a 2010 Camaro with leather from
The Shop LLC and red stitching. Leather is used throughout the
interior, and both the door panels and dashboard are custom to
match the seats. Additional upgrades include an Alcantara
headliner, Dakota Digital gauges, power windows, Clayton Machine
Works pedals, Billet Specialties steering wheel and Shiftmaster
push-button shifter. Other interior amenities include dual 10-inch
subwoofers and Hertz Audio 3-way component speakers front and rear.
The battery has been relocated to the trunk.
