Vehicle Description
Conceived and built by renowned Washington state custom shop Brand
X Customs, this 1967 Mustang was produced with the intention of
showing all of the things the shop was capable of doing. Built
between 2014 and 2016, this Mustang known as "Josephine" was a
no-compromises build. Starting with the bodywork, the car's
original shape was massaged for a more aggressive look and topped
with bright blue metal flake paint. The drip rails were shaved,
special flush-fit glass was installed, and the front bumper was
handmade to integrate brake cooling ducts. Under the hood is a
427ci V8 engine with trick-flow heads, a FAST fuel-injection system
and backed by a silver sport TKO600 6-speed manual transmission.
The suspension has been modernized with QA1 adjustable shocks,
Global West front suspension, Ringbrothers export brace and total
control frame connectors, and the car and rides on a set of
B-Forged 19x9-inch wheels in front and 20x10 in the rear. Stopping
power is provided by 6-piston Baer brakes with 14-inch rotors. Much
like the rest of the car, the interior is fully custom with modern
heated power seats, air conditioning, power windows and a unique
stereo setup from Speakerbox Audio. There isn't a single element on
this Mustang that hasn't been touched, and all the work was carried
out to the highest quality. Upon its completion, this Mustang was
invited to be displayed at SEMA 2016, where the car was unveiled to
the public. Since then, the car has been meticulously cared for and
looks like the build was finished just yesterday.
