Diamond Benchmark Certified Chevelle, scoring 5,293 out of a
possible of 5,500 points judged on August 13, 2002, making it one
of the three highest-scoring LS6s ever at that time. It was a
Spinner Concours designation, with 994 points out of 1,000, at the
Chevrolet and Corvette Nationals in Kentucky 2003, making it the
second-highest-scoring LS6. From 2006-10 it won 14 Preservation
Awards from the Antique Automobile of America Grand National
Regionals. It is a three-time Grand National Senior award-winner at
the Antique Auto Show of America and the 2010 AACA Diamond Jubilee
Award-winner at Louisville, KY. All options verified and supported
by original Build Sheet, factory invoice and Protect-O-Plate
(warranty card). Dressed in (#25) Astro Blue with (D88) black hood
and deck stripes. Under the hood is the legendary 454ci LS6 V8
engine mated to a Muncie M22 Rock Crusher 4-speed manual
transmission with 4.10 gears and posi-traction rear axle. The
Chevelle underwent a painstaking restoration in the early 2000s.
