Vehicle Description
This 1967 Shelby GT500 is just out of the shop. Powered by a 1971
427ci side-oiler service engine with LeMans rods and valve covers,
mid-riser heads and dual 4-barrel carburetors. It has been
inspected and resealed with a detailed engine bay. A big-spline
Toploader 4-speed manual transmission has been also inspected and
resealed. Both the underbody and chassis have been detailed. The
maintenance history on this vehicle extends back to 1986, with
copies of documents dating as far back as 1978. Included is a
document noting a dealer-installed air conditioning unit that, when
new in 1967, was in for only a short time period. This 427ci
side-oiler-powered GT500 was featured in Mustang Monthly, June 1989
edition, and is in the Shelby World Registry. It comes with a
complete and documented history.
